My sister and I stayed at Oddsson for 3 days. It was located in a quiet neighbourhood within a short walking distance (8 mins walk) to the nearest bonus supermarket. Flybus also drops directly on this street. Very clean property although our unit was next to a staircase so compromised privacy to some degree with passerbys walking to and fro frequently. Luckily, black out curtains were part of the interior furnishing. One feedback for improvement is to allow direct communication with the property as all details related to self check in were sent to an automated email agoda provided which left me waiting a good while outside in the cold on my first day in iceland. Luckily, the property had a telecom button at the entrance.

This was my second time staying at the Oddson Downtown. It doesn’t have a hotel feel - more like an apartment. I prefer the hands off feel with no staff onsite. The location is very walkable to all the downtown shops and restaurants but is off the main drag so it’s extremely quiet. The bakery downstairs, Brikk, contends with the more well known bakeries downtown such as Sandholt and Braud. I love the neighborhood feel with all the conveniences. I will absolutely stay here again.

Supermarket Bonus is 5 minutes walk away. The room is very clean and cozy,the small kitchen has everything we need for cooking. Love it!!
