Nunsmere is a lovely hotel and our room was exceptional. The reception staff were very helpful and delightful. However the dining room staff were somewhat forgetful. I asked for another glass of orange juice at breakfast and it never came. We ordered a large glass of white wine and a medium glass of red wine for dinner in The Restaurant and we brought the reverse! I had expected fine dining and was disappointed although the food was ok. I would return though as the hotel and grounds were lovely but I maybe wouldn’t eat there again.

Everything was more than we expected. Fantastic countryside location, but accesable to so many places. Every member of staff we came into contact with went over and above but they're all so naturally gifted and friendly made the stay even better. Rooms so clean and serviced to high standard. Food was good quality and hot. Bar was fully stocked and cosy. Outdoor spaces and walks fabulous. Couldn't ask for more. This hotel could show others how to offer guests the full genuine package. Thank you we'll be back

Front of house reception didnt really give a warm welcome. It may as well have just been a self check in.
The bar staff were were good could have done with a few more on the bar as only had 1 and kept having to go somewhere else.
Thw room we stayed in was the juniour suite i wouldnt call it that i would call it a double deluxe. Nothing really that made it stand out. A few chairs doesnt do that.
I wouldnt stay there again much better places and location for that price.
Oh and we got charged twice for our room not the receptions fault it was *** they need to keep an eye on this.
