We really enjoyed our stay at Mytton Mermaid. The location is wonderful on the banks of the River Severn and across from Attingham Park.
The hotel is outstanding, having been recently refurbished. The food is excellent and being coeliac UK accredited is great as one of us is gluten and lactose intolerant. The staff are all friendly and accommodating.
Our room was warm, comfortable and easily accessible with our little dog.
Our room,which was on the ground floor is the only one designated for dogs and is also for disabled guests. As such it has a wet room rather than a bathroom. The sink had no plug, so wet shaving was slightly inconvenienced. The only other slight negative was a lack of storage/ hanging space especially as we had a lot of thick winter clothing for our two night stay.
We would highly recommend the Mytton Mermaid.
