For a few days exploring Belfast this hotel was perfect. A great location for exploring, great size rooms with fantastic sound proofing and all the amenities we expect (shower gel, tea and coffee, USB charging points, hair dryer, safe etc). Staff were lovey, hotel is well kept and breakfast has enough options to get you off to a good start (the donuts are 👌).

Just back from a great night away at Moxy Belfast City, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel nails the perfect mix of modern style, great value, and genuine warmth.
Location is spot on, right in the heart of Belfast on Clarence Street West. You’re literally steps away from the buzzing Cathedral Quarter, with easy walking access to City Hall, Victoria Square shopping, loads of restaurants, bars, and nightlife. Couldn’t have asked for a better base!
The staff really made the experience special. From check-in to checkout, everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Sophie was so welcoming and we even got a free welcome cocktail which was lovely :) They remembered little details about our stay, offered great local tips, and just had that personal touch that makes you feel like you’re not just another guest. In a city full of options, this kind of service stands out.
The hotel itself has a cool, playful vibe with bold design, comfy beds, and everything you need for a fun, connected stay. Breakfast was great, really tasty, and with a great variety to set you up perfectly for the day.
Only minor downside? The bathroom had no heating, so it felt a bit chilly especially in those winter mornings. Everything else was so good that it’s a small quibble in the grand scheme.
Overall, a really enjoyable, personalised stay in a lively, central spot. I’d happily return to Moxy Belfast City – 5 stars from me :)
