    vely beach” Nice resort situated at the northern side of Koh Lipe. Breathtaking beach located at the resort. Beach deck chairs provided. Pool is also very nice. Poop closes early at 5pm. Resort is far from walking street and other beaches. Shuttle, on the back of a pick-up truck, only operates between 6 pm and 10 pm on a first come first served basis. Very restrictive. One night the one bench on the back collapsed entirely with one lady passenger’s hand was injured. Our room only got cleaned very late afternoon, often around 4pm, even though we were out of the room very early morning. Rooms were not cleaned properly. In a week, the tiled room floor never got washed. Bathroom counters, shower, mirrors, etc. did not get wiped at all. Ashtray on the deck never got cleaned. Towels are changed daily but bed linen only got changed once when we complained. Due to the way Agoda structured my booking, we were moved to a family bungalow for the last 2 days of our seven day stay - last unit right at the back of the resort. Requests to rather accommodate us in a cheaper, but better located and suited unit could not be facilitated. No refunds allowed - never requested one. Explained my wife’s medical condition that impacts her mobility, to no effect. Long uphill walk to unit. I suspect that they are short staffed and owners/management have drilled strict rules that are not guest friendly at all into the heads of their staff. Saw a few people being stopped at breakfast being asked to return a fruit as they only allow consumption in the breakfast area. The family bungalow, which I paid dearly for can accommodate four guests in two entirely separate units, even though we were only two guests. Even though I paid for accommodation and breakfast for 4 guests, they would not allow me to invite a friend to enjoy breakfast with us, without having to pay for her breakfast additionally. So I would have paid for 5 breakfasts that morning. Staff are trying their best, but restricted by non-sensical rules and policies. They required that she check in under my booking the previous night, and then she would be able to enjoy breakfast with us for free. Resort is showing some signs of wear, and will require serious maintenance soon. In the family bungalow, the bar fridge did not work. Many mosquitoes at the family bungalow. No action taken. Recommending the resort purely based upon the beach it is located on. Pick the units carefully. Some units require quite a steep walk to get to them.
