Mithi Resort and Spa

A special mention to Liza and Carl from Café Luisa, who made every breakfast and dinner truly memorable. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality elevated our entire experience. They are a tremendous asset to Mithi, and honestly, one of the reasons I would happily come back. I would also like to commend Lloyd from Reception, who assisted us during both check-in and check-out. He was accommodating, professional, polite, and always greeted guests with a smile. His excellent service did not go unnoticed. Why Mithi feels like heaven 1. Privacy is well maintained.
The resort offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, making it easy to truly disconnect and recharge. 2. Outstanding facilities.
The pool is one of the best highlights of the resort. The private islet, pristine beach, beautiful gardens, and cave add to the unique charm and experience. Everywhere you look, there is something beautiful to appreciate. 3. A perfect place to relax and reflect.
You can spend hours by the pool simply enjoying the serenity, meditating, reading a book, or taking in the breathtaking surroundings. Our stay at Mithi brought us so much happiness. It felt as though both our personal and work-related burdens were lifted, even if just for a few days. Thank you, Mithi, for providing such a wonderful escape. A few areas for improvement While our overall experience was excellent, there are a few things that I believe could further enhance the guest experience: 1. Complimentary amenities
I requested additional toothpaste and body lotion because I intentionally packed light, knowing that I would be staying at a premium resort. I was surprised to learn that the initial complimentary supply (two small bottles of lotion) was the maximum that could be provided. The same applied to the toothpaste. For a resort of this caliber, additional basic amenities upon request would be a thoughtful gesture. 2. Room allocation and guest preference
When making my reservation, I specifically requested a room with a beach view. Upon arrival, I was initially assigned a ground-floor room with a significantly obstructed view, despite a second-floor room being available. The upper-floor room had a partial beach view and a terrace, making it objectively more desirable. While I appreciate that the team accommodated my request to move rooms, I felt there could have been more effort to proactively match the room assignment with the preference communicated during booking. 3. Late check-out flexibility
I requested a late check-out until 3:00 PM but was informed that an additional charge would apply. This came as a surprise, as many upscale hotels I have stayed at often extend reasonable late check-out requests, subject to availability, as a courtesy to guests. While I understand that policies vary, a bit more flexibility in this area would have made the experience even better. Despite these minor concerns, our stay was truly exceptional. Mithi remains one of the most beautiful and relaxing resorts we have visited, and we look forward to returning in the future. Rating: 5/5 for the experience, hospitality, and overall ambiance. 🌴✨

The place was so big, to those who love trees and natures you will definitely love the place. The beach was great too with broad shoreline. The food is delicious, they also have complimentary food. The room was cleaned and spacious. It was superb well definitely go back.

I called a few days ahead of my arrival to request early check-in —- my arrival was at 8am and published check-in time was 3pm. Much to my surprise, I was informed that early check-ins before 11am had a charge of Php7,500. Pretty steep and quite disappointing really. Even when I explained that I was there to attend a 2pm wedding at their hotel on the same day of my arrival, the front desk didn’t budge and insisted it was strict hotel policy. When I arrived at the hotel, I ended up staying at the lobby for a while as I did not want to pay for their early check-in charge. About over an hour, I was told I was allowed to check-in early. Grateful for it but I hope the hotel reconsiders its early check-in policies.
