Despite its age, Miramar Hotel Manila continues to charm guests with its timeless character and warm hospitality. The art deco design evokes nostalgia, reminding visitors of Manila’s rich heritage, while the staff ensures that every stay feels comfortable and welcoming. Rooms may not boast the ultra-modern amenities of newer establishments, but they are well-kept, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained. The location is excellent — close to cultural landmarks and city conveniences, making it a practical choice for both leisure and business travelers. What truly makes Miramar “gold” is the service: courteous, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. It’s the kind of place where tradition meets comfort, proving that age can be an asset when paired with authenticity and care. A stay here is not about luxury in the modern sense, but about experiencing Manila with a touch of history and heartfelt service.

We had a pleasant stay at Miramar Hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. They kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel after checkout, which was really helpful while we explored the area before our flight. The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants, food stalls, convenience stores, and banks just a short walk from the hotel, so everything we needed was easily accessible. The hotel also has its own restaurant, and they usually host a ballroom event every Friday. Unfortunately, it was canceled during our stay because of the typhoon, but it looked like it would have been a fun experience. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and we would be happy to stay here again.

I stayed at Hotel Miramar for 3 days and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing overall. The biggest issue was the internet connection. It was very slow and unreliable throughout my stay. I called several times to report it, but I was repeatedly told that it was being fixed. Despite these assurances, I did not notice any improvement. This was quite frustrating, especially since the hotel’s online reviews suggested otherwise. The bed was also much firmer than I expected, which made it difficult for me to rest comfortably. On a positive note, the staff were very accommodating, courteous, and quick to respond whenever I needed assistance. Their customer service was one of the few highlights of my stay. What left a particularly negative impression was the checkout experience. I came down at around 11:20 AM, and I was informed that I might need to pay for an additional hour because checkout was already past 11:15 AM. Considering it was only a few minutes beyond the stated time, I had to ask for reconsideration. Given the issues I had already experienced with the internet and the slow elevator, this felt unnecessarily strict and disappointing. Overall, while the staff were excellent, the poor internet service, uncomfortable bed, slow elevator, and rigid checkout policy made my stay less enjoyable. Personally, I would not choose to stay here again.
