The hotel is beautiful. Entrance from the main road is somewhat awkward and at busy times probably a little dangerous. My only criticism would be the food and also the breakfast was not included in the price. Quality of the breakfast and also the one meal we ate at the hotel was average at most.

My wife and I stayed at the Marine Easter Saturday and Sunday. The 3rd time in past 2 years. We only stayed there this time as our first choice of hotel was too expensive..
It’s handy for visiting places like Howth and Malahide and its general location is ideal .
We were in a superior double room with a sea view. The room , number 111, was clean but quite small . The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very cramped and had a small shower cubicle. The room was directly up the stairs above reception.
We had breakfast both mornings . It was self service choice of cooked food , cereals, yoghurts, fruits and juice. Only on the second morning were we offered a choice of how we wanted our eggs
The hotel staff are pleasant but as the hotel was very busy over the 2 day Easter period they appeared to be short staffed and empty glasses were left on tables in the bar and lounge areas for some time. There was no evening entertainment and no decorations, unlike what we saw in other establishments, to suggest it was Easter time. The whole place is in need of refurbishment.
