    The hardest thing about Margarita Beach Resort is explaining why it's so special without sounding like you're exaggerating. Set on one of Thailand's most beautiful, untouched beaches, this little tropical hideaway gets everything right. Tiki-style shacks, surfboards, flamingos, lush gardens and a beach bar that looks like it belongs in a movie create an atmosphere that's impossible not to fall in love with. Morning coffee with your toes in the sand, the chillest playlist drifting through the palms, ice-cold beers on the loungers until late, and sunrises that genuinely take your breath away. The shacks are spotless, cozy and just steps from the beach. The restaurant is excellent, and the pizzas are ridiculously good. The real magic, though, is George and Ella. Effortlessly friendly, incredibly helpful and full of great local recommendations, they make you feel less like a guest and more like you've come home. Khanom itself is a reminder of what Thailand used to be—authentic, local and refreshingly untouched. And a special mention to Noodle, the sweetest dog you'll ever meet, who somehow becomes part of the experience. We arrived with a two-night booking, extended it to more than a week, and left planning our return to this little slice of paradise.

    I was just staying one night along my travel but the place seems nice and relaxed. Area is quiet

    Unfortunately our room was were the drainage and sewer system vented out, into the bathroom with no windows or external ventilation to get the smell out, so the smell moved to the sleeping room, we ended up with thumping headaches and felt sick, to breathe that air all night is not fit for humans, what a shame, the room was expensive, yet would not rate one star. The resort has a great restaurant, food, staff and location, for what it is its expensive though, but the room was a disappointment and spoilt our time there, a proper sewer system is needed, and vented externally not into the rooms.
