Room is teensy tiny but it’s all you need in nyc, best price you’ll get and I felt clean. Theres 4 bathrooms that all stayed clean the entire time. Theres also free coffee, tea, and sometimes snacks. Very kind staff, they store bags if you ask for $5. I travel to NYC a bunch and I would definitely stay here again.

Manhattan Bowery Lodge offers excellent value for money during the Christmas season, especially for budget travelers who plan to spend most of their time exploring New York. The rooms are small and cramped, but this is reasonable for the price paid. Shared bathrooms (four in total) are well maintained, with staff consistently keeping them clean. Fresh towels are provided daily in the lobby, along with complimentary water.
The walls are thin, so noise from neighboring rooms can be heard, but this wasn’t a major issue since the room was mainly used for resting. The location near Chinatown is a big plus, with plenty of great food options nearby. Guests should note that the lodge is located on the second floor, which may be inconvenient for those with heavy or multiple large suitcases, as rooms can feel very tight with two large bags. Overall, a practical and affordable choice for short stays in Manhattan

We had a great stay, really good location. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The only thing is the room is small, but it’s doing the job- sleeping. The bathrooms are regularly cleaned and nice. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place. :)

In the heart of China town and very close to public transport. Nice staff. Comfortable bed. Clean sheets warm and very safe. The only thing is the room is small but doeable and the stairs are not good if you have heavy bags in saying that its only 1 small flights and we managed. Also bathrooms could be cleaner but for the price its ok. We will return.
