not a social hostel if that’s what you’re looking for. just a place to stay if you’re going to Alishan

Pro: convenient location. Just a short walk from Chiayi station. A lot of restaurants nearby and easy to get a taxi if you have an Uber app. The nightly price is cheap. Room is huge for me. I like how we use an indoor slipper and we leave our shoes inside a locker in the entrance. It feels clean. Cons: AC is noisy. It needs maintenance. My room is on the first floor so i can hear people from the social area. It gets silent around 10pm but if you want to rest earlier than that, then you cant. Maybe higher floors are better. I sleep with an earplug so it's Not a deal breaker for me but it's not a very convenient accommodation if you want to take a good rest.. The wifi is bad. Sometimes it disconnects for whatever reason.
