We stayed in two types of rooms at this hotel: 1) Economy Double Room: If you have any luggage, you'll constantly bump your knees because the room is incredibly small. - The ventilation in the room is practically nonexistent. - The bathroom floor and walls were very wet the next morning. - As a result, there were several black moldy spots, including on the toilet seat 🤢 Basically, try to avoid touching anything when entering or leaving toilet. 2) Two Single Bed Room: - Room ***. The shower faucet had a hole, leaking like a fountain. They covered it with feeble clear tape to pretend it didn't exist. We actually moved into this room after the staff cleaned it so they didn’t care (unless they didn't clean the toilet, they couldn't have been unaware). - There were other rooms of the same type that day, and they assigned this one to us too 😂 Speechless. - The ventilation is there, but the bathroom floor and walls were still very wet the next morning 🤡 Others: - When I asked the staff for a change of towels, she was so surprised she almost refused. Her "Huh?!" made me wonder if I was hallucinating. Did I book a hotel or am I lodging for free😅 - My eggs were stolen from the B1 refrigerator!! When I asked the front desk staff, they said it wasn't an employee who threw them away. I'm unlucky, but the hotel hasn't really done anything about it or investigated. They didn’t even show any apologetic intent whatsoever. There's a communal kitchen, but whether you'll have any ingredients to cook depends on your luck! - We had many empty rooms on weekdays, and our requests to be away from the elevator were completely ignored; we were assigned rooms right in front of the elevator entrance! 😂 - The middle-aged male staff member who checked us in had an extremely rude attitude, acting like a debt collector—very impatient. If he can't handle service, he could consider changing careers. - Most of the staff at the front desk on the first floor are young; they don't even greet us when we pass by, not even a smile. 😂 Ignoring guests when they greet you is their absolute specialty. - When we borrowed other types of pillows, we found they had an odor, clearly hadn't been cleaned, and the pillowcases were much darker (compared to the pillows in the room). We didn’t dare sleep on them. - We left our luggage in the living room and were given number tags, when we came to pick them up, many suitcases were already gone. We discovered they hadn't even tied our numbers to our bags! 🤡 Eggs being stolen, be beware your luggage is treated pretty shabbily too! In short, there were too many unsatisfactory things. I don't recommend it. For this price, other hotels in Taichung are much better with much better service; it felt like a rip-off. If you really want to try, I suggest booking fewer nights first to leave yourself a swift back up exit. Don’t be like us. Best of luck!
