Kokotel Cebu Adira

It was a good hotel, my only concern is the stopper in the bathroom, hope they will remove it or change it

Reliable wifi, clean and quiet environment.

Almost good but the room size was too small for space to move and stuff. Not comfortable

The hotel itself has a lot of potential. I liked the overall design and concept, and the water dispensers were a nice touch. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in was simply far too small for the price. When I arrived, I was initially given a different room with a very small window and very little natural light. I had specifically booked this type of room because of the photos showing the large window, so I was eventually moved to the room with the larger window. The large window was definitely a positive, with a nice view and plenty of natural light. However, the room itself was extremely small. It genuinely felt like a box room — you walk in and there is basically just the bed, with almost no usable space around it for luggage or moving around comfortably. For me, it felt quite claustrophobic and was the biggest issue with the stay. The room also felt quite humid and stuffy. I'm not sure whether this was due to the size and ventilation or the bedding, but it didn't feel particularly comfortable. Sound insulation was another issue. Because the rooms are so compact, I could clearly hear people from the neighbouring rooms. The lack of separation between rooms made it feel like there was very little privacy from the other guests. The shower was also problematic. During one shower, the water did not drain properly and eventually flooded across the bathroom floor, creating a significant amount of standing water. I had to contact the staff and have it cleaned, which was inconvenient. The staff were responsive when I raised issues, and I appreciated that they helped with the room change and the flooding. My criticism is therefore mainly about the room itself and the value for money, rather than the staff. Overall, I think the hotel has a really interesting design and concept, but the room is simply too small for the price. The large window is nice, but it doesn't compensate for having almost no usable space, humidity, noise from neighbouring rooms and the shower drainage problem. For the price I paid, I expected considerably more space and comfort. I would not stay here again.
