I stayed for five nights to attend an exhibition at Koelnmesse. If you're looking for a place to stay for an exhibition, I can confidently say this is the best value you'll find. The most surprisingly wonderful part was the breakfast. You can start your day feeling energized with their fresh, delicious bread and high-quality dairy products.

This youth hostel is the worst one I have ever stayed in, for many reasons: 1. The most intolerable thing for me is that there is no socket at the bedside. Do you let everyone sit down to charge? If so, this room only has 2 chairs, isn't it funny? 2. The equipment is old and inadequate. It is hard to imagine that people still use keys to open the door. There is no air conditioning in the room, and even no fan is provided. It is really uncomfortable to stay in the summer. It is particularly hot and stuffy. I still suffer after playing for a day and can't rest well at all. 3. The location of the front desk is unclear. I finally found the door but it was locked and I had to enter from the other side. 4. There are some common shortcomings of other youth hostels: for example, there is no curtain to cover the bed, so I turned on the bedside lamp on the upper bunk, and the lower bunk could come up and turn it off when I was not there. There is no sense of boundary and privacy. There is no floor mat and curtain in the bathroom. The shower water flow is very messy. It splashes everywhere like an explosion when it is turned on, resulting in water accumulation on the ground after taking a shower. There are no toiletries provided, and the wifi speed is also very slow. Since I chose to stay in a youth hostel, I can accept some shortcomings. Every youth hostel has its shortcomings to a certain extent. After all, it is difficult to satisfy everyone. But I never expected that this youth hostel would have all the shortcomings in one. At present, the price of this youth hostel is not lower than any chain brand on the market. In my opinion, the charges are actually expensive because there is no service at all. Maybe the boss thinks that young people are easy to control, so we have to make the bed ourselves. This should be solved by you, not us. This store is a one-time deal and does not want to operate word of mouth and repeat customers. Anyway, I will not stay here again, and I will tell my friends around me not to choose this one. The funny thing is that when I was writing this review in the early morning, the door of the room was opened by the staff and asked my roommate something (because it was in German and I couldn't understand it), which was extremely ridiculous. The only advantage I can think of is that there is no decent supermarket around this youth hostel, and drinks and water are available for purchase at the front desk.

It s a nice enough hostel, but a traditional youth style hostel so might not be ideal for making friends..very clean but with no AC in the dorms, and they were sweltering in the 30 degree summer
