    The lodging is well attended and communication was easy. The vegetarian food (dinner and breakfast) were delicious. The rooms are clean and quiet when it's time to sleep. Common use facilities were also well kept and clean.

    An interesting experience. Staff very friendly and helpful, Very good vegetarian food. The building is very cold (November) but you have a heater in the room, which we needed to use all night to keep warm. You need to walk down the corridor to a shared toilet/bathroom. Lovely gardens,

    What a wonderful and unique experience this was. Such a special spiritual place. People just need to understand it’s not a 5 star hotel. It’s a temple where you are being invited to share the experience. Highly worthwhile. The morning chanting was inspirational. The Food ( included) was good and very traditional . The hospitality was great. Onsen was really nice on a chilly November evening. Recommend visiting Okunion for a one of a kind experience. Cafe ( Bon On Shay) across street was truly delicious .
