    Great hotel but on the side of town under construction….not easy to find.

    Jano Hotel is a rip off experience. They show low prices so that you think they are cheaper than other similar hotels but when you get there they hit you with higher fees (only accepting USD) if you have a guest with you. Even though when you book, the image shows two beds. The cleaning team is great, but aside from that the staff all the way from the manager to the receptionist are unprofessional and unaccommodating. Even the restaurant kept calling the phone non-stop after I ordered something, followed by the receptionist calling a lot asking me if we are 2 or 1 guest, as if I snuck into that place and wasn't actually a paying customer who spent money at their business and was expecting courtesy and respect. By the way, the area of the hotel is terrible. You should be mindful of that. You can't walk at night. No view whatsoever. There are also lots of constructions around, and the hotel is not well-known at all to cabs and ride drivers. The manager is the least accommodating person you can meet. I was planning to post a travel video about them for my social media followers so that my followers avoid them, but decided not to waste my time and energy to review a mediocre place like that. Surely it is still within my right to do that in the future — I have documented everything and I will only be sharing the truth. For example, I will mention the hotel is obviously clean due to the hard work of the cleaning ladies and some other positive aspects too. But my bottom line and final verdict about this place is: Avoid at all costs.
