    We love the room with a scenic view and it’s very spacious. Onsen is good too. This hotel is near to #3 cable car station. We also realise they have an entrance sort of can ski in/out yet we didn’t use it at last. They also have a dry room to store all equipment which we like it!

    This hotel offers an exceptional modern ryokan experience, featuring clean, traditional Japanese rooms. The warm and courteous staff, coupled with its convenient location just a 10-minute walk from the Zao Sanroku ropeway, made our stay truly memorable. The private onsen provided a deeply relaxing experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zao.

    This hotel was established in 1991, and has seen better times, facilities were dated and basic. We stayed for 2 nights in mid December and found the lobby (especially) and our room to be very cold. The heater was too weak to heat up the entire hotel. There was no laundry service and no activities except for meals and onsen. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was next to ski slope and we could see cable cars on rope way and skiers from our room. We love Zao, it was a 25 min drive from JR Yamagata station, and we want to visit Zao again.
