We really loved Hotel Solun. We had issues with a very late flight and staff were friendly and reassuring. The location is great, with all transport links 10mins or less away and rooms spacious. It was brilliant having a kettle in the room which is unusual for Italian hotels and the breakfast offered a good range of food with gorgeous coffee made fresh to order. I would definitely recommend and love to return!

The hotel is centrally located to the city center and the port. We stayed one night before our cruise and wish we had more time at Hotel Solun! Great value for the price, beautiful interior of the hotel and room, good breakfast. The man at reception desk was very accommodating and made reservations for us at a delicious restaurant nearby. Our only complaint was that the air conditioner could not be turned off so we were a little chilly during the night. Will stay again next time we come to Trieste!
