As first time travellers to Cape Town, we wanted a good central hotel location. The Hotel Sky provides that and also a clean, comfortable welcoming environment. Great value for money. The room layouts can be a little unconventional for some and the Hotel decor a touch garish but these are minor issues and didn't bother us.

The hotel itself is dated, staff are friendly but facilities overpower this. A single phone in the hall on each floor in the event that you need to call reception. Like what! Are we living stoneage. I called from my mobile to the hotel landline. Very compact space. Long elevator waits I echo this. A once off.

But the hotel was clean and everything was on point, but the lifts took time. Some of the stuff members would look at your out fit before serving you. But my stay was amazing

Great location opposite CTICC, but not great venue for business traveler - rooms are old and ill equipped for business travel; breakfast unpleasant due to volume of guests vs facilities, space and food availability
