A good play to stay at Cape Town

I love how closed to everything and the area is really quiet and secure (also the room has a good space and I could sleep better than I think possible, no noises o light). The cleanness was superb and the support and helpful for the whole team working there make it special for a woman traveling alone

The bathroom need an update, but it was clean and white and have supplements waiting for me every day.

My first room had old furniture. The guest next door to me when they flush the toilet you can hear the water filling up - they need to check the plumbing or sound proof the rooms. The Night shift Manager Mr Ikeraam Davids changed my room to a more modern room and everything was so much better.

The breakfast was very disappointing. Stale confectionery that was put out. Hardly had a spread. Very very disappointing. Had to make my own coffee and tea.

The staff in the breakfast area evesdrops on your conversations. The lady in charge of the breakfast area is very rude. Noisy hotel

Relaxing and enjoyable. I was sad to leave.

The views were spectacular , you could stay in the room the whole day, the lighting and the beds were comfortable. The patrons were friendly and helpful. The cleaning stuff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast team was also very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was good but lacked variety, I guess it is a great menu when you watching your diet like me but my family was not happy. I only saw it later that it is a Halal establishment.

Cel phones charging points

Breakfast spread was good

There was plug points suitable for charging cel phones. Even my international travel plug cud not fit. South African plug points are big looks like 16amps points . 5 amps plug points only are needed to charge cel phones. After scanning the room I found one small adapter hidden in corner below the TV mains. Strongly recommend that the hotel plug points must be user friendly for international travelers like me. Most of hotels will have electric shaver points , this was also missing in the bath room

CAPETONIAN HOTEL, the best 👌 👍

The room was very attractive when I walked in with a view. The staff, friendly and helpful. They made you feel welcome and at home. Last but not least, your food, the buffet, absolutely to die for. I loved every second we stayed there. We can't complain of anything eg. Food, staff, rooms, cleanliness. It's a pleasure to always come back or to be back I actually bragged to all my family

The service by the staff was excellent and professional.

The room was in good condition, except that the shower caused the floor to be wet every time I showered. The glass shield installed on the bath rim, did not do the intended purpose. It would be great if The Capetonian could include smart TVs in the rooms. I did not enjoy the TV experience, as the channels offered were not to my liking.

Booking in ran smoothly. Restauant staff were helpful, friendly, and kept the tables neat. They were very present and assisted with a smile The room was beautifully presented. The tea, coffee , water, and biscuits were a kind gesture.

The en-suite floor was dirty, and so was the grouting in between the tiles in the shower. There was no soap holder either. No hooks to hang your gown or other garments. The spray used to freshen up the room was too strong and lingered throughout my stay. It affected my sinuses, making me sneeze throughout the night. No safe or covered hotel parking available.

Stay was good but felt very 3 star, but the food and staff were great.

Breakfast and staff were great. Great location. general feel was good.

Bed was too small. The TV did not work, The room was old. Bath and toilet were separate from the wash basin. We were placed on an non renovated floor, even though they had said renovations would be done before OCT and I booked a very long time ago. The pillows were all of different sizes and different firmness.

Overall the stay was good and the Breakfast was excellent 👍🏼

The best part for me was the Buffet Breakfast and the Staff at the Restaurant were awesome.

We didn't like the fact that when we arrived at 14h00 our room was not ready and we had to wait. But when the Manager saw us standing there for some time, he immediately sorted out a different room for us. Thanks again to good Management.

The breakfast was good. Service was quick.

Parking can be more secured for guests. Upgrade the TV packages with better channels. Perhaps get a smart TV to allow guest to access their own Netflix or Disney+. The open area where public events are held, perhaps consider closing that off and isolating the hotel reception away from the noise. It take away from the ambiance of visiting a hotel.
