    I had a very disappointing experience at Silverton Hotel, Nainital. We booked a Superior Room for 3 adults, but at the time of check-in, the hotel charged us extra for the third person even though our booking was supposed to be for 3 guests. This created unnecessary inconvenience and confusion. The staff did not provide a satisfactory explanation, and we had to pay additional charges unexpectedly. I would recommend future guests to double-check all booking details and confirm the occupancy directly with the hotel before arrival to avoid such issues. Transparency in pricing and better customer service are expected.

    Unfortunately, our stay fell far short of expectations. The hotel’s location is quite inconvenient due to the steep terrain, and off-site parking costs ₹500/day—which is a considerable distance from the restaurant area. ​The accommodations were poorly maintained. Upon check-in, the room was unclean, the washroom had noticeable dampness and a persistent odor, and the outdated spring mattresses made for an uncomfortable night's sleep.
