    We stayed in a villa type ryokan where there is a jacuzzi tub. Lovely ambience in the villa. Dinner and breakfast were awesome. About 10 minutes drive to takachiho gorge.

    Best hotel I have stayed at in Japan in the last 7 years. The fit out of the room is Japanese style but with modern materials and confortable beds. Just great standards. THe staff are so attentive and friendly. We just had a great experience. And if you are driving this is the place for you, Sugi San takes good care of your onsite parking and keeps your place, enjoy

    No bottled water in the room. Latest Breakfast is at 730am. Not sure why guests said the breakfast was good when I thought it was ok only.
