    I was in Kochi to participate in the Kochi Swimathon, and choosing Hotel Periyar turned out to be an excellent decision. The swimathon venue was just about 900 metres away, which made things extremely convenient. The metro station is only a few steps from the hotel, making it very easy to get around the city. The rooms offer a breathtaking view, especially during sunset by the river, which was a definite highlight of the stay. Every food item we tried was enjoyable and well-prepared. The only minor drawback was that the WiFi signal could be a bit weak at times, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The location, food, and warm, helpful staff made this a truly relaxing and comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, and I’d happily choose to stay here again on my next visit to Kochi.

    Very economical, clean. It's next to river Periyar hence the name. Got a very beautiful sit out restaurant overlooking the river.
