Hotel Odeon

My stay at Odeon was very disappointing and I will never return. The room was small without a bathroom but that would have been acceptable. However, the hotel was loud and created an unsafe feeling. I stayed for two nights. The first night there were several noisy groups in the corridors who kept talking loudly outside rooms until early hours of the morning. I finally got tired of being awake and at 2:00 a.m. I went to the corridor and yelled "It is time to be quiet as people are trying to sleep!". The noise reduced for a while and then returned. The second night was even worse as there was a person who was literally screaming her heart out because she was in severe distress. It sounded dangerous and lasted for about an hour, from 9:00-10:00 p.m. This happened at times in the corridor and at times in a hotel room. It literally sounded like someone was in serious danger as the screaming was so gutwrenching. I contacted the hotel management by email and asked them to check it out or call the police as the situation sounded extremely serious and the whole floor at the hotel and beyond could not focus on anything else. I did not hear back from the management and eventually I got enough and went to knock on the door. The room got quiet but no one opened the door. I threatened to call the police and the screaming subsided but continued after a while at a lower volume. What was even worse was the hotel management's answer by email which I received the next morning. They said, verbatim: "Good morning :) You can always call the police if something like this happens." So the management thought there was a reason for humor and smiling??? An unbelievably callous response!

Have tried every possible way to contact them. I never received the self check in information. It seems there is noone to help me check in.
