    I want to express my deep disappointment following our stay at Le Méridien Vienna. This hotel absolutely does not deserve its 5 star rating, even a 4 star hotel offers far superior service. I booked in complete transparency via Agoda for 2 adults and 1 child aged 16, with a confirmed rate including breakfast. Upon arrival, the front desk demanded a surcharge for the teenager, claiming it was chain policy for an extra bed. When we contested this extra fee the reception staff became outright atrocious. They advised us against using online booking platforms and simply suggested we cancel and go find another hotel after a long trip and with our money already paid out. Unacceptable. The worst happened on the second night: returning at 11 PM, the front desk flatly barred us from accessing our room because the surcharge hadn't been paid yet. Since the cash was inside the room, they refused to let us go up to get it. After strong insistence, a staff member finally escorted us, all while threatening to call security if we didn't pay immediately. A scandalous and deeply humiliating behavior. When we asked for bottled water, we were coldly told that water was only provided on the first day and that we could drink tap. The only professional person in the entire establishment was the head of housekeeping, who handled our complaints regarding missed room cleaning with the efficiency and standard expected of a 5 star property. As for the rest, the front desk staff needs a complete overhaul. Extremely negative review. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

    Good location responsive staff except one who was argumentative rather than addressing the issue like her cơ-worker. The younger staff seemingly understood the health concerns of the stains on the bed sheet and readily prepared to change. The Green Day vouchers are wonderful idea. It’s also during the time when we cashed in the ice cream vouchers, we met a very nice young lady named Vanessa working at the bar. She was genuinely nice, sincere, and cheerful upon greeting us and was very attentive to my wife’s order. Given her good sense of humor and bright smile, Mỹ wife and I were able to truly enjoy our visit.

    Hotel in great location room was dirty lights in elevator dimmed in a very strange way ( possible not to see the dirt?) can’t get past how dirty the floors were to be able to recommend this hotel to anyone despite great location
