    We were traveling as a family and always on the move, so being located right in front of the Kyoto station (which is huge and requires further walking) made everything super easy without having to worry. A big shoutout to the staff! They accommodated everything we needed and were always extremely friendly and smiling. The hotel is spotless and taken care of in every way. Highly recommend booking a stay before they close next January!

    The room was spacious enough for 3 of us. Nicely maintained and clean room but definitely can see that it is outdated and need refurbished. I heard that the hotel will be closing down soon (I saw the notice at the lobby) which is unfortunate. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Located nearby the train station, shops and restaurants are nearby and everything is within walking distances. The staffs were nice too and able to speak English well. Amenities are provided at the lobby and you can bring them to your room after you check-in.

Although the location is excellent, the hotel itself is outdated and has an old-fashioned feel. The service, décor, and facilities feel like they haven’t been updated since the 1990s, giving the property an overall old and tired atmosphere.
