    We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Marc Aurel. The location is excellent — very convenient and within walking distance to many key attractions, making it easy for us to explore the city comfortably. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the quiet environment which allowed us to rest well after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with our questions. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and felt very welcomed. We would definitely recommend Hotel Marc Aurel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay, and we would be happy to return again in the future.

    The hotel is near to VIB (airport bus) drop off point. There's also minimart nearby, walkable to all the main attractions. I only took the metro once to Schonbrunn, and the station was like 5mins walk away. Metro for line 3 to Vienna central bus station is slightly further at Stephansplatz which is less than 10mins away. The room was clean and better than I expected. Room was well insulated from the cold, you could switch on the heater if you need. But I didn't have to use it and the room temp was just right for me eventhough it was 0 degrees celsius out there.

    It needs more attention in the cleaning aspects. The floor isn't clean and it doesn't get cleaned. The toilet doesn't get cleaned either. When we got in the room there was clearly smell of cigarettes. I raised the issue with the front desk person. The reply I got was an impatient "We are a non-smoking hotel but we can't control what guests do in their rooms." Oh well. :-( The location is great for accessing the metro and the trams. Also, the Postbus airport shuttle station is only 2 minutes away. by foot.
