    The only positive aspect is the location. We stayed in the second floor (not the basement with windows) but the room has a funky smelled of warm, dirty rag when the first time we opened the door. The staff was helpful and came with us and confirmed that the smelt is not normal. But the hotel was fully booked and hence he offered us a free breakfast. What’s even worse is the toilet water didn’t stop and was noisy most of the night. We had to leave the window open to ease the strange smelt and I got a cold after the first night. The Hook in the room was broken, and the curtain has a hole in it. They do offer us to change the room on the third day after many requests. But I already got a cold and my daughter has got her skin allergy. I will not stay again and do not recommend it to family travelers.

    Cozy place and extremely close to Van Gogh Museum and trams. Value for money. Clean and spacious room.

    The staff and the hotel were super good. My only problem was that the room is in a basement floor - didnt see it properly in the reservation as it's name doesnt shout it, so pay attention that there are many rooms that are in -1 floow, meaning that your window will be bellow the street.

    The property itself is basic and feels more like a 3 star hotel. Room furnishings are like 00's style. Beds are comfortable. The location is what sells this hotel. Skeleton crew staffing and no warm welcome here, just passport and keys and bye.
