Hotel Fenicia

Bathroom was super tiny. Location is superb. Room size was alright but soundproofing was poor.

Terrifying receptionist. The hotel had 4 floors, and my medium-sized luggage couldn't even fit in the elevator. No one assisted with the luggage. Essentially, this hotel doesn't feel Italian; it feels Indian, as all the staff, including the receptionist, appeared to be Indian and exhibited very poor manners and hospitality. When we checked in, he never asked for our passports, but later came to the 4th floor to give us the key. Instead of using a photocopy machine, he took a photo of our passport data page with his phone. There was no telephone in the room, and he failed to provide us with the WiFi password. He simply handed us the key and snapped pictures of our passports. The room had nothing but a bed. The shower never got hot enough in this cold weather, and the hot water ran out after just 2 minutes. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible, with a harsh white light in the room and a different orange bulb. At 9:45 am, someone knocked on our door to remind us to check out. He never informed us of the check-out time during check-in. He stated that check-out was at 10 am while knocking on the door. The towels had a strong Clorox smell and were heavily stained. The chair was also very dirty with stains. When we checked out, I requested the receptionist to hold our luggage until 5 pm for our airport trip, but he demanded 10 euros per bag and insisted we carry our luggage downstairs to the laundry shop, which is his friend's place, for storage. Bed mites are everywhere
