The location of this hotel is great. You will be facing the sphinx and the entrance to the pyramid area. The neighbourhood looks very poor and dusty. We had booked 3 nights and left after 1, so I can't comment on the surrounding restaurants.

Room was nice big and clean with a unreal veiw of the pyramids. Only issue i had was they were doing construction on the rooftop which ex very noisy until late and therefore had no rooftop resturant to go to

The sphinx was right in front of our window. If you go on days of the light show, you can enjoy the lighted pyramid and sphinx from your room!

Look. The staff is nice but like many people have mentioned, you probably won’t be in the hotel that has the great view of the pyramids. The photos are actually a mix from 2 hotels and you will likely end up in the one that is far back from the pyramids, down a back street where a lot of horse and buggy’s hang out so it smells of animal waste. The room was fine (if you craned your neck you could see a bit of pyramid between buildings) and we demanded to at least have our breakfast at the hotel with the view but just so you know, you will be staying in a hotel away from the pyramids, not the one right in front of it. You can argue all you want but they don’t care because they, unlike some of the other hotels, require payment in advance and have no cancellation. Book another place where you don’t get stuffed around.
