We struggled finding a hotel in Giza and I’m writing this review based on the cost - it’s a cheap hotel but certainly not the cheapest in Giza. The location was excellent for access to the pyramids and it is unique to have a pyramid view from the rooftop. However that’s all that’s going for this hotel. We paid for a room with a window but the window looked directly onto a wall so had very little natural light and wasn’t worth having. The whole hotel smelt of stale smoke and our room also smelt of this combined with fish - not sure if this was because we were below the restaurant. The hotel was incredibly noisy with paper thin walls so we could hear every voice, chair scraping etc. Again I suspect this was made worse by having a room under the restaurant. We did not sleep well at all because of loud noise late into the evening and early morning. One of the nights we were woken in the middle of the night by what sounded like someone emptying a wheelbarrow full of bricks onto the floor. We were leaving on our first morning at 7am and asked reception if we could go to breakfast early, even just to grab a biscuit or fruit or something very simple. They said breakfast starts at 7 and they said that we wouldnt be able to have a full breakfast but there would be food out from 6:40ish and we would be able to just grab a little food. We arrived at breakfast at 6:45 and one of the waiters very rudely told us we could not have any food as it opens at 7 and breakfast was not ready. He did not listen to our request or explanation to have something that was out already and kept saying it wasn’t ready and we had to wait until 7. He said he would speak to the manager, which he did not do as we watched him then ignore us and continue setting up breakfast. After our 3rd time asking him and saying we only had a very short time before we needed to leave he finally called a manager. By this time we had to leave so did not have any food. This was dissapointing as we paid for breakfast and had only wanted to easily grab some food that was already out and were not requesting for the staff to do anything extra. Overall an incredibly dissapointing stay and one of the worst hotels we’ve stayed in for a long time

my 2 night stay here are amazing, the view from rooftop, the staf and also clean room. I do search a lot to avoid unpleasant stay and i found this hotel meet my expectation. I pay litle extra early check in and i dont mind that because i already have 17 hrs journey to get there. Im very tired. I realy need bed to rilex. Plus the breakfast i realy love it.

Hotel was near the old entrance which doesnt help since the new entrance is further away. u do get the pyramid view when ur having breakfast. We noticed that asians were completely ignored by breakfast staff and wont even bat an eye, they are busy hovering over other tourists giving them service & free falafel when asians couldnt get a basic service. I felt it was uncalled for since we're all paying customers, service level should be consistent especially from the lady server during breakfast service. Room was basic, weren't ready by check in time. Gave us dirty room with sandy floor, our phones in room dont work so we ended up cleaning it ourselves. Area around the hotel felt unsafe & smelly with many horse shits at the front. i would avoid
