Honestly the staff was friendly but not all of them.
The swimming pool was supposed to be complimentary but when we're checking out they asked for 20 € for each pool visit.
The cleaning of the room was perfect.
But honestly for the value that we paid for 9 days was not worth it.

Amazing hotel

We were really looking forward to our stay and everything was sort of a let down. Nothing disastrous and the rooms were clean but it was not what we expected. We primarily booked because of the pool facilities they advertise only to find out it was an additional 35€ fee which I found to be completely absurd. It never even crossed my mind that we would be denied access to their facilities as guests staying at the hotel, I refused to pay out of principle, we just wanted to pop into the pool/sauna for 20 minutes before bed.
We arrived ahead of check in after no sleep on an overnight flight, while they are obviously under no obligation to give us early access, hotels with good service at least make some effort to either offer you an alternative (even if there was an additional cost for the upgrade that would have been fine) or switch your room to one that is ready or talk to cleaning staff to try and have your room be ready a little earlier; there just wasn’t any care or effort or service to try and make our experience better. I was told they would call me when our room was ready, they never did.
Cleaning staff just walked into our room both days without knocking while we were in bed/in the washroom which is very unprofessional. There was no deadbolt on the door so there was no way of keeping people with a key card out, not very secure.
Amenities in the rooms were definitely lacking for a 4 star hotel. The bare minimum was available, big bottles of 2 in 1 body/hair wash, no bars of soap, no kettle, no shower cap etc. which you would typically expect to find. Poor shower configuration. Couldn’t get the TV connected to any streaming etc.
The area of Paris the hotel is in is also far from the most interesting, there weren’t many shops, cafes etc. around.
The only thing that set this hotel apart was the facilities which they didn’t automatically give you access to. For the price, you’ll find something equally nice in a better area with better service.
