Hotel Atlantico Rio

I would not recommend this property. I booked a 7\-night stay through Agoda Australia to stay with my father. I requested a twin room, but this was not provided, and I was informed it was unavailable.However, I later saw that twin rooms were still being advertised online.I contacted Agoda’s support team, but the issue was never resolved, and no one took ownership of the situation. The bed was uncomfortable. I could feel the springs and hear noise whenever I moved. The blanket also had several stains, which was disappointing. The hot water in the shower did not work throughout all my stay. I reported the issue to reception every day, but no one followed up with me or took responsibility for resolving it. The in\-room telephone was also not working initially, although it was eventually replaced. The room was too small. On one occasion, I requested a glass of ice to take to my room but I was told there would be a charge. I also requested an iron, but none was available, which was inconvenient as I had travelled from Australia and needed to iron several shirts\. Breakfast was consistently very busy and not well presented, and the elevators were frequently crowded, resulting in very long waiting times. On my final day, I spoke with a staff member named Eston.He was the only employee who acknowledged my frustration, sincerely apologised, took ownership of the situation, and arranged for me to move to another room. Unfortunately, as this happened on my last day, I only had one comfortable night during my entire 7\-night stay. Overall, I would recommend paying a little more to stay at a different hotel.However, I would like to sincerely thank Eston for his professionalism and for being the only staff member who genuinely tried to resolve my concerns. I will not return to this hotel.

Awful

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at for the price I was paying. 1. The check-in took 2 hours and just a massive queue and such slow administration. 2. Omg the elevators….. Where do I begin - just don’t. There are 3 elevators but only 2 working and they are taking forever. People just end up using the stairs to 11th floor. 3. Everyday the card to your room would reset and you would have to go to reception to renew the connection. Even so it was not guaranteed it would work. One evening when I had been out I had to go down to the reception and then up-down-up-down-up until the card finally worked. 4. The rooftop and pool area is way smaller then advertised on the pictures. 5. Queue to the breakfast also…. But the breakfast itswell was well. 6. Made me pay for the extra water in the room aswell to top it all off 😂 The room was good and clean, but all the facilities around was just horribel to say the least. Overall rating 1/5

Péssimo. O pior hotel que já fiquei. Check-in demorado e com fila. Elevador para de andar em andar e sempre cheio. Chegamos no quarto e estava imundo, cheio de CABELOS e pelos pelo chão. Toalhas e roupas de cama com manchas estranhas. A área de lazer não é muito maior que os quartos - minúscula e normalmente tomada por um grupo de pessoas que fica acumulado lá. O café da manhã, sem palavras. Tudo do mais barato e de baixa qualidade, pouquíssima variedade além dos pãos xoxos e ovos. Nem uma torradeira tem. No segundo dia, fui à uma padaria pra tomar café. Não vale nem 1/3 do valor pago. Já fiquei em hostel e hotel de beira de estrada melhores.
