Although the location was amazing and the staff was great I feel like I didn’t get wait I paid for. My room was not updated, I couldn’t watch anything on the tv, charger ports were not working properly and the ac was leaking in the room as well as the curtains were dirty and broken in one spot and I paid less for another hotel in the area and had none of these issues. I probably would not book this hotel again but staff was amazing and the location was on a great spot

The room was nothing like the photos. There was peeling paint, cracks along the walls, door handles falling off, what looked like mold in the bathroom as well as the door lock being broken. Management was refusing to speak to us when we complained and requested a refund or at least a cancellation of the remaining stay. The book of complaints in the lobby was at capacity. We ended up going to a police station and speaking with some lawyers. Once we managed to contact them on writing demanding a cancellation in accordance with Brazilian consumer protection laws we finally obtained one. Some of the reception staff was really helpful as much as they could given the circumstances. The breakfast was decent and the location was good, but I would never go back.

I’ve had to change three rooms till fit with the price I’ve paid. For 3 stars hotel doesn’t cover the expectations about “Spacious rooms”(my first 2days was in small rooms with small double beds), the fitness center was one multifunction machine, cross trainer and treadmill(all of them basic and old) there weren’t any dumbbells or training mat. Also the whole spa area was clean and tidy. The sauna was off through the whole time. Also for 3 stars hotel the breakfast was almost the same variety every morning(my stay was 10nights). The bed sheets has staines and holes. Housekeeping wasn’t keeping the room in good and clean condition, the floor was always dirty even after cleaning. All pictures aren’t accurate, probably they’ve been before 10 years. I’m totally disappointed of this hotel for the price I’ve paid.

The hotel was contacted after our experience, denying us a refund of our whole stay. First of all, we had to change room twice, before we got the room we had ordered (a room with a double bed). All the rooms (we got to see three of them) were in very bad shape with uncleaned stains on floors, furniture and walls. Secondly, and a big warning-sign, was finding silverfish (insects) on the floor (usually a good sign of bad cleaning and standard of the hotel). We did however consider our stay one night, and when we were going to bed we found it was filled with unexplainable small black round balls (not sure what this was). After complaining about this, the hotels answer was to give us new sheets that we should change ourselves. This was ultimately the reason for us leaving. When we were given sheets, we noticed they kept pillows on the floor in the storage, without any protection. The standard of the rooms do not represent the stars they claim to have. It is clear, after had observed 3 separate rooms, that the whole hotel is run down. Marks on the floor, walls and on the furniture. The AC installed are very loud. The rooms also are not representative of the photos they promote. Not one single room of the ones we looked at had a bathroom like the pictures describing it.

Simple and good value for your money. About a 9 min walk from Copacabana beach and even though I felt safe for the most part walking even late at night, it might not be for everyone. Only major thing I can say about is the sewer smell in the bathroom. It wasn't that bad, but I can still smell it. Overall good. Staff were friendly.

Excellent value for the money! Simple but nice and very clean accommodation, delicious breakfast with very wide range of choice. Magnificent view from the rooftop with pool! Perfect location - just about 7 mins by walk from Copacabana, moreover, I felt safe in the hotel neighborhood. Very nice and helpful staff, the only negative was that not everybody could speak English.

The hotel was very pokey, very small, not enough space in the room , noisy people from room next door, the air conditioning was not working properly. There was no kettle or iron in the room. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast was OK.

There is noise from all the shower and bath tubes in the building, generating noise when other rooms bathroom are used. The cleanliness was much below the expected, even after reporting problems on sheets and pillow odor, the hotel did not take the proper actions to solve the problems. They did not seem to have cleaned pillows.

We had a great stay here. The room was clean and comfortable and with a reasonably priced minibar. The breakfast was extensive with something for everyone available. We were allowed to leave luggage prior to check-in and after check-out. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great as it was a 5-minute walk to Copacabana Beach. Very good and would recommend.

The people and staff was very helpful and friendly. Thiago helped us a great deal by arranging a cab to take us to the bus terminal. this hotel is about4-5 block from the Copacabana Beach and a few blocks from the metro. this hotel is a small hotel its like they took an old Apartment building and transformed it into a hotel. the rooms are a bit narrow but your really there only to sleep so it wasn't bad. the Breakfast was really good.
