Yes it’s cheap but it shouldn’t be this dirty. Water from the faucet has black gunks and hairs. I don’t think the tanks are cleaned.

GV Hotel Despite the 4⭐️ rating, I'd like to share the following. *Please know, this was our PERSONAL experience staying in Deluxe Twin bed for almost a week.* 1. We arrived past 2pm. The lobby was dim, unwelcoming aura. Agoda says 12pm was the check-in time. The hotel lobby have notes saying it's at 2pm. 2. They had us sign a no-refund-during-brownout-waiver. I found this odd as we never experienced this in other hotels. Turns out the hotel do not have a power generator. I asked how often the power outage is. Not often but there was one scheduled the week of our stay, Wed from 5a to 830a. 3. We took the elevator to our room the hallway was half-lit [at the time]. 4. No complimentary toiletries except for a roll of tissue paper. Agoda listed, otherwise. 5.The room has only one spare power outlet located right next to where the TV was plugged in. Half a meter phone cable charger barely reaches the outlet. Best to bring power extension cord. 6. Right above the AC is a jalousie window that leaves an opening enough for some insects to get in. We said hello to some mosquitoes, drain flies and moth. Let me be clear. Just some, though noticeable when they fly right in front of you. 7. No TV remote. No hanger to hang clothes or towel. You'd have to ask at the reception. Hanger is limited to 3 pieces. 8. No garbage bag but there is a bin. Reception said you can ask for it to be collected. Next room has ther bin out for a day and no one collected despite staff passing by. 9. WiFi is unstable for people working remote. We were at the 2F. 10. Shower wasn't working. Staff came to help and got it working after explaining the faucet below must be off first. The faucet and shower share the same line and only works one at a time. 11. The bathroom could have been cleaned and disinfected first. There were black sand that's obviously been there a while. The floor where the bucket was had sand marks, as well as, the drain and other parts of the floor. Say hello to a butiki. 12. No hotel slippers. Other hotels we've been always have a pair or two. 13. Hot water is available at the reception area for 10 pesos. Never tried. 14. No complimentary breakfast, unlike what was listed in Agoda. 15. Door has no peephole. 16. Receptionists are friendly. 17. Strong water pressure. 18. We requested for linen change mid-stay. They were pretty quick. I read previous reviews of this hotel prior to booking. They were mostly the opposite of what we experienced.

I am a solo traveller. The place is decent. Location is excellent.

Travel
