    I spent 4 nights at Grand Centra Hotel in August 2026. it's an older hotel, but it a nice quite area with easy access to transport. Kanda station is a 5 minute walk, and access to several metro lines is also very close by. There are lots of food options nearby and FamilyMarts just a few doors down. The room had everything I need and was well insulated with nice cold air con that stayed on even when I was out and about (a great thing in Japan's hot summers). The breakfast on offer was a a set menu in the cafe downstairs with 2 options each day (usually a western and Japanese option) with a drink, and was good value for 990 Yen or cheaper if pre-paid. Happy to recommend if you're not after the newest fanciest hotels, as it was very good value when I stayed. Staff were lovely, very helpful. Only word of warning is that there are a lot of stairs to navigate to use the laundry, as you need to walk down to the basement from level 2, but they are cheap enough - 200 yen for a wash and 100 yen for 30 minutes of drying, laundry powder is available for 50 yen.

    I have stayed at the Grand Central many times in Tokyo. PERFECT location for JR and Ginza Lines and you can walk to Tokyo Station or Akihabara if you want to. Very nice and professional Staff and clean rooms.

    Great staff, very friendly. Sadly, the hotel needs major renovations. 70s look of bathroom. The spring of the bed was digging into my spine. Pay a bit more for good sleep, trust me.
