We stayed at the lodge as a big family. The location is marvelous, you can admire from the restaurant and from the room terrace, the elephants passing by to go for their twice daily bath to the river. The manager/administrator is super helpful and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and bed linen and towels clean and fresh. The rooms have AC. Breakfast was good and with the views to the passing elephants. We would certainly come again.reach out to the hotel directly to get best deal/night compared to booking platforms.
We understood that people staying at other hotels had to pay for this sightseeing experience and for walking down to the river for observing the elephants bathing.
Some of the elephants have chains so that is sad but nothing the hotel could do about it.
