Crown Beach villas - direct access to bikini beach

Loved my stay on diffushi. The staff here were always quick to respond to my questions even before I arrived. The arranged a sppesbiat transfer to diffushi the day of as I changed my plans. You gotta jet ski here

I had a good experience staying at the hotel , room has a very good location with nice vibes, just one thing they could have provided better door lock.

We chose Crown Beach mainly for budget reasons. One positive thing was that when we arrived around 10:15 AM, the staff allowed us to do an early check-in so we could rest first, which we really appreciated. The receptionist also kindly explained how to use the hot and cold water tap. The hotel is located right in front of the west beach, but unfortunately the beach itself was heavily affected by abrasion. During May, the wind and waves were quite strong, making the erosion even more noticeable. There is also an unfinished building near the hotel that damages the overall scenery, and it did not seem like construction would continue anytime soon. We spent some time sitting by the beach, but there were many mosquitoes and we got bitten quite badly. We booked a room without breakfast. The breakfast cost USD 10 and included an omelet, three fried sausages, toasted white bread with blueberry jam and butter, two slices of sponge cake, and a glass of juice. The taste was quite standard for the price. At night, we also noticed small insects that appeared to be bed bugs biting us while sleeping. Later, we found several blood stains on the bedsheet, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. The Sand Grill Restaurant listed on Google seems to be part of the hotel, but there did not appear to be dedicated restaurant staff. The minimart is integrated with the hotel building itself. The reception area faces the beach side, while the minimart is located on the island side of the building, and the staff seemed to handle multiple roles, including cooking and managing the shop. It also seemed that the rooms were not cleaned daily during the stay, but only cleaned after guests checked out and before new guests arrived. The towel used as a doormat in front of the door was often full of sand and was rarely cleaned. At one point, I even removed the sand myself outside because it had become quite uncomfortable to step on. I also had a conversation with one of the staff members, who mentioned that they had never personally met the hotel owner. They were recruited from their home country and only communicated with the recruiter, which perhaps explains why the hotel management and maintenance felt less supervised. For a budget hotel, we did not expect luxury facilities, but we do feel that hygiene and room cleanliness should be improved.
