Solid valve at the Agoda price, and unlike some of the other booking agencies this had 48 hour full refund cancelation. The hotel itself is basic but a bit run down. The king bed room was large, moderately clean, but in need of remodeling. Had a fridge & microwave. Breakfast was solidly good.

Overall a pleasant stay. Have stayed here several times in the past and the rooms are becoming dated. It's time for renovation. Only issue with stay was billing. Had payed in advance and was billed again upon arrival(double billed) Took 3 days for funds to be returned. An issue as such could be a real problem for an individual who has no other funds. Lucky for me that wasn't the the case, just unnecessary anxiety.

I liked the location of the hotel me and a few of my co workers decided to travel here for labor day to enjoy the area as we have since we were children. Everything was great beds were comfy rooms were clean. But the only downfall was the size of the TV in the room u can barely see it for it was placed on the wall too high and in a weird place on the wall. Where if I were on the left side of the bed I wouldn't be able to see it without my glasses on. I get it who goes on vacation to watch TV in the room but after walking through the outlets u need a break to rest n well. I haven't watched TV on anything less than a 55 in TV.

When I checked in, I was expecting a hold on my card given to the front desk for incidentals. Normally it’s anywhere from $25-$100. Nope, not at this place. They put a hold on my car for the entire stay amount, minus the third party fees. This was more than half the money I had in my checking account. So instead of having a relaxing trip, I was stressed about money the whole time. When I confronted the front desk person who checked me in, first he said they don’t put a hold on cards. I knew that was a lie, all hotels do that. Then he said it was Priceline that did it. That was also a lie because I didn’t book with them either. He then said he lifted the hold and put it on the card I used for the reservation. This didn’t happen either. I would’ve rather have him admit he messed up instead of the continuous lies.
