Citadines Tour Eiffel Paris

We had a very good stay at Citadines Tour Eiffel and would definitely recommend this hotel. There were a few minor issues during our stay, but overall, the positives definitely outweighed them. The hotel is not the newest, but our room was surprisingly spacious, very clean and comfortable. One of the things I always look for when staying in Paris is air conditioning, and thankfully the room had good air conditioning. The room also had a kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge, cooking stove, kitchen utensils, plates, cups and everything needed for basic cooking, which was very convenient. One of the nicest surprises happened when we checked in. Before our trip, I emailed the hotel because it was our first time in Paris and we were celebrating my birthday and our anniversary. I asked if it would be possible to have a room with an Eiffel Tower view. The hotel replied that it would not be possible because we had booked a room without an Eiffel Tower view. So, we were very surprised and happy when we checked in and discovered that our room actually had a beautiful Eiffel Tower view from the balcony! We were so tired after travelling and sightseeing that we ended up not going out at night. Instead, we simply stayed in our room and enjoyed watching the Eiffel Tower from our balcony, which was actually a lovely way to spend the evening. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable. The location is excellent, especially because the hotel is right in front of Metro Line 6, making it very convenient to get around Paris. A tip for guests travelling with luggage: if you are coming from Gare de Lyon or another station, select Metro Line 6 where possible because there are escalators and it is much easier with luggage. I would avoid Line 8 when travelling with luggage because we found it had very few/no convenient escalators, which made it harder. Breakfast was okay. There were not a huge number of options, but there was enough for a good start to the day. I especially want to mention Edmond, who was incredibly helpful and friendly. He seemed to be doing everything — assisting guests, preparing and cooking food, washing dishes and constantly making sure there was enough food on the table. He really deserves recognition for his hard work and I hope Citadines takes good care of him! At reception, there is also a good selection of coffee, hot chocolate and tea, as well as hot and cold water available 24/7 for free, which was a nice touch. There were a few minor things that could be improved. There was quite a strong smell in the breakfast area during our stay. We also did not use the hotel’s laundry because there was a strong smell in the laundry area and the washing machines were quite small. However, there is a self-service laundromat just about a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The price was similar to the hotel’s laundry, but the machines were much bigger and there were dryers available, so this was actually a better option for us. During our stay, only one elevator was working, so there could be a wait at busy times. The staff overall were very nice and helpful, and despite the few minor issues, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Overall, we would recommend Citadines Tour Eiffel. The spacious and clean rooms, air conditioning, kitchenette, comfortable bed, excellent location and especially our unexpected Eiffel Tower view made our stay very memorable

Great staffs, great place and amazing location!

Reception shows deceit to me when they gave me the room, and another staff stop me and send wrong room, but it seems they made mistake again. The first guy reception bluffed to say want to satisfy me but is all using his charm, in the end never give me the higher floor said wrong person. Its just an ackward feeling and giving me false hope. Room is big, but no slippers. Toilet ok. Ordinary. But location is good as near metro. The door lock does not give u safe feeling as no double lock and a bit noise can hear inside room make feel eerie on the room. No replenish of the toiletries and water. Prepare your own water too if don’t wished to have tap water. Overall a budget hotel but not for the price i paid as it seems expensive for 1,084 sgd, or 855++ USD for 2 nights. Expensive for a 2-3 star hotel for me.
