CHRISTEE SUITES HOTEL

Really enjoyed our stay here with the family of four. The room was a good size and comfortable for all of us. We especially liked having a bathtub, and the bath and shower items provided were surprisingly nice! The room also had a lovely fragrant smell throughout, which made it feel really pleasant. Breakfast was nice and cozy. Since it was a low-peak period and there weren’t many guests, we could order à la carte instead of having a big spread, which worked well for us. There’s also a simple pool, but it was perfect for the kids to have a quick swim. The location was really convenient too — just a short walk to the shopping mall, so getting food or doing some shopping was easy. Overall, a comfortable little hotel with a nice, relaxed feel. We had a good stay and would be happy to come back again.

I chose Christee Suites Hotel for our stay in Melaka for several reasons, but one of the biggest factors was its location — within walking distance of Jonker Street and the main attractions, while still being just far enough away from the busy tourist area to enjoy some peace and quiet. It was the perfect balance of convenience without being right in the middle of all the noise and crowds. However, what truly made our stay special was how thoughtfully the hotel accommodated my daughter’s multiple food allergies. Even before our arrival, I reached out to the hotel to ask whether they could customize meals for my daughter due to her food allergies. Kris was incredibly prompt in responding and went above and beyond to assist us. He not only arranged for allergy-friendly meals, but also took the extra precaution of informing all the relevant staff about my daughter’s condition. As a mother of a child who has multiple food allergies and can have significant reactions to allergens, this meant so much to us. Travelling with a child with severe food allergies can be stressful because there is always that worry about what they are eating and whether the people preparing or serving the food understand the seriousness of the situation. When we arrived, we were also given the opportunity to meet the chef personally so that we could discuss my daughter’s dietary requirements in greater detail. The chef was humble, understanding and very cooperative. I genuinely appreciated that he took the time to listen to our concerns and work with us to make sure her meals were suitable. That level of care gave my husband and me something that is incredibly precious when travelling with a child with food allergies — peace of mind. We were able to actually relax and enjoy our holiday knowing that the hotel team was aware of her condition and genuinely made an effort to accommodate her safely. I really hope other parents travelling with children who have food allergies come across this review, because I know how difficult it can be to find hotels that are willing to listen, communicate and make the necessary arrangements. Christee Suites Hotel truly made us feel that our daughter’s needs were taken seriously. Apart from that, we booked the Executive Room, which was lovely, cosy and clean. Everything was comfortable and just right for our stay. Overall, we are very, very pleased with our experience at Christee Suites Hotel. The combination of a convenient yet peaceful location, a comfortable room, and most importantly, the exceptional care shown towards our daughter made this a memorable stay for our family. Excellent stay at this hotel. Very spacious room and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast reasonable.
