Hotel chateau Monfort is a cute hotel But beware of hidden taxes, which is not much but we were not informed previously, also our reservation was made clearly that taxes were included in our reservation.

We had a wonderful stay at Château Monfort! The location is excellent—about a 20-minute walk to the Duomo, which made it easy to explore the city center while still enjoying a quieter, more elegant neighborhood. Just a short 3–4 minute walk away are some fantastic local restaurants like Mediterraneum Horario and La Cantina di Manuela, both of which we highly recommend. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with a unique charm. Our room had a gigantic bathroom, and the window looked out onto a peaceful courtyard, making it feel like a little oasis in the city. Housekeeping came twice daily, keeping everything spotless, and the staff were consistently friendly and attentive. We also really enjoyed the spa, which included a steam bath, sauna, and a cozy indoor warm pool—perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. And the breakfast—absolutely amazing! Probably the best croissants we’ve had, along with a wide selection of high-quality offerings. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Milan!
