    Excellent price for a very nice and large bedroom, with good amenities, close to downtown and riverside and in a quiet area. One plus should be to have a restaurant and room service available (only available for breakfast in that moment)

    My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Chateau Kampot for 2 days and 2 nights, and our experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. The accommodations were comfortable, well-maintained, and provided the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Kampot. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional level of service provided by the staff. Every team member was professional, respectful, attentive, and eager to assist with any request. A special thank you goes to Samantha, the Hotel Manager, whose hospitality and dedication to guest satisfaction made our stay even more memorable. Samantha was incredibly accommodating, approachable, and attentive to our family's needs. Her commitment to ensuring guests have a wonderful experience is evident in every aspect of the hotel's operation. The dining experience was outstanding. Every meal we enjoyed was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict for breakfast and the Katiew, which was absolutely delicious and quickly became one of our favorite dishes during our stay. The quality of the food consistently exceeded our expectations. One of the highlights of our visit was spending an entire day at the hotel's spa. My family and I indulged in a variety of treatments, including a full-body massage, foot massage, facial, and body scrub. Each service was delivered with professionalism and care, creating a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. What impressed us most was the spa's ability to accommodate specialized wellness needs. One of my cousins had recently given birth, and the spa staff thoughtfully arranged a postpartum herbal steam treatment accompanied by a therapeutic massage to support her recovery and rejuvenation. Their attention to detail, cultural understanding, and commitment to personalized care made a significant impact on her comfort and overall well-being. Chateau Kampot offers the perfect combination of outstanding service, excellent food, relaxing wellness treatments, and genuine Cambodian hospitality. Whether you're visiting Kampot for a family vacation, a wellness retreat, or simply a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend Chateau Kampot.     As we all know, a hotel isn't just a building. It is the sum of the location, the building, and most importantly the staff. I would have to give a 5 out of 5 fir every aspect of Chateau Kampot. First off the building. It is a stunning and recent renovation of a classic building: high ceiling, great lines, etc. The spa with pool located next door is the icing on the cake. The location is in the center of the downtown roundabouts. The staff, I can't speak highly enough about them. From the front desk to the wait staff, from the cleaning staff to the owner, all wonderful. We stayed 3 nights and it felt like we had upgraded our home with a great bathtub and balcony dining looking over the city.

    From the moment I checked in, the loudpeakers in the adjacent properties did not stop pummelling their subwoofers which literally shake the hotel room. And the pool opens bright and early at 6am, so you can wake up to gangs of screaming children. After the door banging from drunk people stops around 3am. Being in this hotel was like being assaulted. But of course, the lobby is quiet and pleasant always. Scambodia at its finest. If you enjoy chairs dragging, walls banging, children screaming and deafening loudpeakers with bass frequencies which shake the building, this might be just the place for you. As I am not an alcoholic, this place is not designed or managed for me. Will not be returning.
