This is my 3rd time with Central Hotels and they are outstanding. The location was phenomenal and the breakfast was excellent. The free beer in the café is another great benefit. Further, the rooftop terrace is spectacular.

The hotel is located near the Cathderal and historical center of Mexico City. It’s walking distance to a lot of important places to visit. It’s safe for solo travelers! The room was a bit small but it was perfect! The rooms are new and the rest of the hotel. I was in Room 105? Or on the first floor and was facing the street. It was beautiful to open the curtain and see the street. The restaurant is on the 7th floor and it has an amazing view of the city! Beautiful sunrise, too! Great working AC. Amazing shower. The only thing I was not liking: the sheets and towels were still a little bit stained? Not well washed, I suppose. Tho the rest of the room looked very proper. Reception was also very friendly. And there’s always a security standing outside the hotel door. It felt very safe.

As people have said, the room is small but cozy enough for a short stay and being out and about most of the time. I thought the bed was very comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful. We really appreciated the 24 hour cafe where many items are complementary!

We stayed twice. While the public spaces are great, the standard room was subpar. The double bed is extremely bouncy, so you are disturbed whenever your partner moves. The area around the bed was too narrow for my husband to comfortably do push ups. We were looking forward to having a king bed for our second visit, but the hotel said Agoda told them our reservation was for a double bed even though our Agoda confirmation showed a king bed. We had the inverse of our prior room, but with the bathroom having a window, and this was much worse since the shower was considerably smaller and uncomfortable even for thin people. The rooms are extremely noisy with organ grinders repeating irritating music all day and heavy nightclub beats at night. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The unlimited water bottles at the 24-hour cafe was extremely convenient, and it was cool to be able to get free snacks (though the bean burrito was very liquidy). While we loved the rooftop café, and the staff was very friendly, the room was so annoying, we won't come back for our next trip.
