    Convenient location for sightseeing and the accommodation itself is very beautiful heritage building. Friendly staff and excellent services. The Italian restaurant at grand level is fantastic too. Hope to stay there again.

    Malaya room was beautiful and had everything we need. It was clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately it was raining cats and dogs around 11pm and water gushed nonstop for 2 hours from a crack in the ceiling onto my king bed right in the middle. It was quite an adventure & experience. Sleep was not possible until the last drip stopped completely at around 2.30am. We could not change room because it was full-house on 19th September night. The night staff Mr Lim was very helpful and reassuring. He gave us lots of towels to soak up the water on the bed and a bucket to collect the rain water. The day staff Mr Kumar was very apologetic and willing to help us resolve the issue. If it had not been for the rain, and the unfortunate crack in the ceiling which does happen to old buildings unfortunately, our stay and our king bed would have been just wonderful. I heard the problem has been fixed and I will definitely return again, when the weather is drier.

    Very well-located cosy hotel in the heart of Georgetown - the place felt like a home with the lounge and roof terrace. Great hospitality and very thoughtful little touches as well, such as the complimentary cake and lemon tea upon check in.

    Great location, clean, walking distance to highlighted spots for culture and food, the downside are no elevator and shoes should be removed downstairs. Breakfast is great, but it is western food in Italian restaurant vs local food which we prefer while travelling. Staff is a mixed of friendly and indifferent. We arrived very late due to flight reschedule, the staff very helpful. Front desk not manned after hours. We found the bottles of bath soap, shampoo all emptied & coffee machine filled with used coffee pods. Given the hotel rate & taking into our experience, we feel it is overrated. We had better experience in similar accomodation in the area at a cheaper rate.
