The hotel is quite basic and suitable if you’re looking for a budget stay. The location is good, with a nice restaurant right in front and a masjid nearby. The surrounding area is more of a workshop/industrial area, so don’t expect a typical tourist or hotel atmosphere.
The room only has a shower inside, while the toilet is shared with other guests and located outside. The shower partition is not properly enclosed, so cold air from the air conditioner comes in. I had to switch off the air conditioner while showering because it was too cold.
There was also a power outage during my stay that lasted around two hours, which was inconvenient.
For late check-in, I had informed the hotel that my flight was scheduled to land in Johor at around 10:15 PM. The receptionist told me to arrive before 11 PM. Luckily, my flight landed earlier at around 9:40 PM, so I managed to reach the hotel before 11. I’m not sure what would have happened if my flight had arrived later, so I would recommend confirming the late check-in arrangement in advance.
Overall, it’s a very basic budget hotel with a good location, but there are some facilities and service arrangements that could be improved.
