Great looking hotel with fabulous grounds and interesting interior. Found the room that we had too hot and no way of lowering the temperature. We opened the window in the end but still felt like a sauna. Also feel that room could do with redecorating as looking very tired.

Hot bath tube is not functioning well that we are unable to take shower during -2 C weather.

Was disappointed with the room as it had an awful drain smell throughout the two day stay. The smell ran through the hotel but was worse in the room. No hand soap in our room and just one shower gel for two days. I did complain so we got one more shower gel but no had soap so we had to use hand gel to wash hands which left less for shower!!! Room was not cleaned properly towels weren’t changed and toilet paper wasn’t replenished! Had to ask for it! Not the service I would expect for a 4 star and definitely not worth the money. Staff however were great but hardly any staff at breakfast and restaurant was not great food was ok.
