Our third visit to Banchory Lodge Hotel and we shall return again in the autumn! The hotel is just delightful, it's set on the banks of the river Dee and is perfect for peace and tranquility. The hotel has a quirky decor style which we love and every room is unique. The hotel is immaculately clean and we've always found the staff to be warm and welcoming. We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this lovely traditional hotel that truly exceeded my expectations.
Nestled in stunning grounds overlooking the River Dee, it offered such a serene and picturesque setting. We booked a deluxe room, which was incredibly spacious. The bed was super comfortable, and there was a cozy sofa perfectly positioned so we could enjoy the beautiful view of the river right from our room, complimentary water, tea and coffee making facilities, bath robes and slippers.
One of my favourite features was the lovely outdoor seating area. It was perfect for enjoying food and drinks while soaking in the fresh air.
What really stood out to me was the friendliness of the staff. Every person we encountered was genuinely helpful and made us feel welcome. They really added to the overall experience, making our stay feel special. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with stunning views and a taste of traditional charm, I highly recommend this hotel. It's a gem!

All staff were sincerely friendly, and always willing to help and engage. Dress code for staff in restaurants and bar area was nice, which both of us liked to see. Room was lovely and clean. Food was excellent and great choices.
