Azalea Terrace

The only "CONs" of this place is that it's not a cave hotel, which people tend to look to experience in Cappadocia. But having tried both, I'd rather enjoy this, thanks to the spacious room they have. Cave hotels usually offer you small and dark rooms (so they're nothing but just experience) Ok, here are the PROs, which are plenty: 1. Paul is the best hotel host I've ever met. He consulted and helped me booked most of my tours in Cappadocia at very reasonable prices (some even cheaper than Getyourguild), even when I asked him at last minutes. In other words, my Cappadocia experience was great, 70% thanks to him. Btw, not just Paul but other people are also super hospitable & helpful. Felt like they're attentive to every guest's need, and remember exactly what you said. I heard this was a family business, and they do keep it like a family atmosphere here. My whole stay was very comfortable. 2. Great location, literally just 6-minute walk to Goreme center 3. Breakfast isn't buffet but the portion is pretty decent and well cooked. They always try to keep it warm and only serve when you're there to make sure it's hot enough. 4. You can view balloons from their rooftop (though, of course the view is not as close as those pricey Kebelek hotels) 5. Their dog, Hector, was super cute and friendly to strangers. I never heard him bark

We booked the cave suite and it is situated on the opposite of the main building. No elevator so we just picked what we need from the car. The location is superb!! Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Goreme. Turkish breakfast provided and it was delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly

We had a fantastic stay. The host was so helpful with organising transport, tours and navigating our way around Cappadocia. We could not have asked for more. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was plentiful with variations to the menu each day. I highly recommend Azalea terrace. We mistakenly arrived a day early late at night. Our host found us alternative accommodation for the night and personally drove us to the hotel with an offer to pick us up the next morning. Fabulous service. The location is in the centre of the city perfect for shopping and restaurants

I booked this hotel for 2 nights. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. When I arrived late at night, the room was very hot (26°C) because the air conditioning was not working properly. I reported this issue to Agoda, and they contacted the property. The hotel agreed to fix it, but when I returned, the problem was still unresolved. Also, the bathroom had a strong, unpleasant smell which made the stay uncomfortable. On the positive side, the location is excellent, very central and convenient. However, the attitude of the staff at the main reception was disappointing—one of the staff members was rude and uncooperative, which made the situation worse. Overall, the location is great, but the room comfort and service need serious improvement.
