The location is great — not too far from KL, yet the cool and refreshing weather makes it feel like you’re on an overseas holiday. The hotel is new, beautifully designed and very comfortable. We especially loved the amenities and facilities — everything was superb and made the stay even more enjoyable. Definitely a great place for a short getaway from the city. The only downside is that there are not many halal food options available at the nearby mall, so I would recommend bringing some food or snacks, especially if you prefer more choices. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back again and again!

I booked a 3 night stay at Antara Residence because I had seen YouTube video on it. It stayed true to the reviews, very clean, super spacious like a one bedroom apartment, comes with netflix and huge bathtubs. The apartment also comes with games facilities like darts and pool room, bowling etc where you can book via their app. The rental rate is much cheaper than main Genting area. The only down side I would say is the location which we already knew. It's a 20mins walk from the hotel lift lobby to main Genting area. There is no shuttle service. May not be too suitable if you have elderly. Apparently there is also no daily room service to clean up the room however, there was whatsapp number provided for us to contact to ask for fresh towels etc. So not sure if you can request for daily room service via WhatsApp. The hotel also charged additional 100rm for 2hrs late check out. Nonetheless, the room and the facilities exceeded my expectation. Would highly recommend if you do not mind the location.
